Tokenized Equity Holders Hit Record 766K, Up 93% in 30 Days

The number of tokenized stock holders is now at 766,366

The number of tokenized stock holders is now at 766,366 as per data from rwa.xyz. With each passing day, asset holders in this sector seem to be multiplying. That said, July in particular has seen explosive growth here. Over the past 30 days, tokenized stock holders have grown from around 396K to where it is today. That equates to a roughly 93% gain. When we zoom out further, the growth is even more striking. Tokenized stock asset holders have grown around 527% since the start of the year.

The growth seen over the course of the last 30 days can be attributed to one source and issuer. The launch of Robinhood Chain and, in less than a month, its tokens now hold 15 of the top 25 spots by holder count.

July was clearly a huge month for the tokenized equities market but there is a catch built into the metric being discussed and this is worth unpacking.

Robinhood’s Lineup Accounts For a Third of Every Holder Onchain

Those 15 names add up to 268,162 holders. This makes up 55% of the top 25 and just over a third of the entire holder base.

Amongst the Robinhood tokens, NVIDIA is the largest at 30,145 holders, next comes Apple at 27,707, SpaceX at 26,211, Alphabet Class A at 23,268 and Tesla at 21,151. The remaining ten go from AMD at 18,195 down to CoreWeave at 10,622.

One Stock, Three Tokens, 112,959 Slots

NVIDIA is the biggest stock on this list that makes the counting problem pretty obvious. In this list we can see that NVIDIA appears as xStock with 63,342 holders, as a Robinhood token with 30,145 holders and as an Ondo version with 19,472. If you do the math, you get 112,959 holders of the same stock across three different issuers. This is close to 15% of everything on the list.

Similarly, Tesla has 64,548 holders split across the same three issuers while Apple and Alphabet have two.

The data presented here does not show how much of that is one trader counted twice or thrice. A wallet holding NVIDIA on Robinhood and another holding it through xStock register separately, and nothing in the dataset distinguishes them.

SpaceX Still Outdraws the Index Products Six Weeks After Listing

Concentration goes past the duplication issue. NVIDIA, Tesla, Apple, Alphabet and SpaceX together account for 299,429 holders, or 39% of the base.

Index exposure barely registers. SP500 xStock sits at 26,493 and Nasdaq xStock at 10,507, a combined figure that does not clear 5%.

SpaceX is the one worth sitting with. Its tokenized versions were built when the shares were unreachable, and the company listed on the Nasdaq as SPCX on June 12. Yet across two issuers the tokens still hold near 37,000, more than the entire SP500 and Nasdaq xStock cohort combined. On Robinhood’s rails alone SpaceX sits at 26,211, ahead of Microsoft at 15,332, Amazon at 17,567 and Meta at 14,794.

What the next 300,000 holders will settle

The supporting numbers pull in an awkward direction. Distributed value sits at $1.87 billion, up 16.06% over the same month the holder count nearly doubled. Monthly transfer volume fell 31.53% to $6.12 billion.

More wallets, thinner positions, less activity across them.

That imbalance is what the next stretch of growth resolves. Holders arriving alongside rising volume and larger average positions would suggest the market is filling out. Holders arriving the way this batch did, through brokerage signups spread over duplicate versions of the same five names, would mean the metric is climbing faster than anything it is supposed to track.
